STORIES OF CHANGE 2024:
INTRODUCTION.
Tanzania is one among of the African countries with many resources and one of the countries with peace and comfort but we need a new Tanzania for the next 5 to 25 years.
IN EDUCATION.
In Tanzania we have four levels of education. Which means that for a person to be a scholar he or she must pass through all four levels, but in all four levels our country should make sure that within 100% more that 80% should be applicable in our country since most of things and subjects are taught theoretically in some aspects, we can consider it as wastage of time. There must be practically based education and it may result to avoid a long-term education based on the fact that Tanzania for a person to graduate and be able to get employed it took almost 16 years to 20 years. If there is practical based education it may avoid such kind of long-term education. Students should be taught according to what we need in our country example we should teach professional lawyers according to lawyer’s education starting from kindergarten to be a scholar other things like life skills should be taught as fundamental.
IN TOURISM.
First of all, I would like to thank our president Samia Suluhu Hassan in the sector of tourism after launching the historical documentary called “The Royal Tour” where she played as the main character of the documentary according to Tanzania Investment Centre it is expected to have investments worth Sh 11.7 trillion, would soon start flowing into the country as the result of the royal tour project. The Royal Tour impact resulted to increase of tourists from different part of the world but this historical documentary it was based only on the Northern Circuit (Arusha National Park, Kilimanjaro Mountain, Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park etc.) there is various circuit across the country example the Southern Circuit (Selous Game Reserve, Mikumi National Park, Ruaha National Park etc.) if our president prepare another documentary that explain and shows Tanzania in the part of tourism as whole it may be more than Sh 11.7 trillion and it will put Tanzania in a good position for the next 5 to 25 years.
IN POLITICS.
In the sector of politics, I’ll much considering on how youth involvement in politics is essential for a democracy. Young people bring fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and energy to the political arena. However, many young people in Tanzania feel disillusioned with politics on believe that their voices don’t matter. it is crucial for educating them about the importance of civil engagement, and addressing issues that are relevant to their generation. By empowering young people to get involved in politics, we can create a more inclusive and representative democracy in Tanzania in the next 5 to 25 years. Young people have great opportunity in Tanzania to decide who will lead this nation, young people can be good leaders, hard workers, and knowledgeable individuals but not necessarily at the top levels.
IN HEALTH.
In the sector of health in Tanzania they have improve healthcare services, but it would be better if those quality services available in urban areas are also in rural areas. Additionally, insurance services should be properly utilized for medical treatment as well as for medication without any inconvenience. But all in all, in Tanzania, in the next 5 to 25 years, we are required to implement the priorities set by the ministry of health under Ummy A. Mwalimu for the year 2023/2024. This can put Tanzania in a good position to combat various diseases such as malaria, which is currently a major affliction for many Tanzanians. According to the main government website under the ministry of health
1. Strengthening preventive health services including vaccination services, nutrition services, sanitation and environmental health services, and community-level health service
2. Strengthening access to and quality of healthcare services provided by public facilities at all level
3.Strengthening access to and control of medicines, medical supplies, medical equipment, diagnostics, and safe blood at all levels of healthcare delivery. (etc.)
IN INFRASTRUCTURES.
In Tanzania we are faced with various challenges that may be solved for the next 5 to 25 years can result to positive impact example in the sector of energy we have natural gas, hydropower, solar and biofuels. But energy consumption in Tanzania is very low less than half of the consumption of low-income countries, having a good energy consumption which has the ability to spread out the country in urban and rural areas without damaging the main and other activities it will increase and boost other economic activities like industries and mining because many of the economic activities they mostly depend on energy consumption.
IN AGRICULTURE.
In agriculture I’ll much consider how young people have incredible potential to lead the growth of agriculture in Tanzania because young people are the workforce of the nation and most of young people in Tanzania believes that agriculture is for elders. In Tanzania young people in the sector of agriculture they can contribute in two parts which are
1. Bring Fresh Perspectives and InnovationYouth are early adopters of technology and can integrate precious farming, data analytics, and other innovations to optimize agriculture practices also young people are more likely to embrace new business models like agritourism.
2. Addressing Labor Shortage Attracting young people to agriculture helps to address the growing labor shortage in the sector by providing viable and appealing career paths.
Generally, all these can be achieved by Government support in terms of providing financial incentives, land access programs and education programs.
Additionally, A new constitution can lead to the growth of Tanzania in the next 5 to 25 years by providing stable and predictable legal framework that encourages investment and economic activity. Furthermore, politics is not a source for accumulation of wealth it’s a tool for listening and solving challenges that the community faces in their country.
