Students loans board release second batch

Among 50,000 students who applied for loan 40,836 had succeeded to get loan from the Government as a second batch released today with 28,554 adding to earlier 12,000 students. Higher Education Student Loans Board (HESLB) has announced to all applicants for the academic year 2015/2016 spawned a second phase of 28,554 after a promise to University of Dar es Salaam students organization.

Names of successful applicant?s secured loans from both phases are available through loan?s board website olas.heslb.go.tz and loan website (www.heslb.go.tz). Moreover the list has been sent to respective institution for registration procedure.

Board stated its aim is to ensure all students of first year qualified for loan secure in academic year 2015/2016 and obtain higher education.

In addition, Student Loan Board of Higher Education has request applicants to remain calm and ignore the information released in some social networks that the Board will not provide loans for the academic year 2015/2016.
