I have noted the coincidence of Senator Clinton's visit and the acquisition of Dowans plant by Symbion Power, the rather dirty wheeling and dealing saga dating back to the era of Richmonduli notwithstanding.
Right now it seems as if Dowans' ills have already washed off, thanks to the arrival of the famous US Senator and Secretary of State into the scene. If correctly so, why did the US Government take to the helm of cleansing that dirt? Who got cleansed and as such why?
If at some juncture in the future Tanzania becomes home to some American military base then the obvious dot connections would surely point to the same culprits we have suspected all along? Equally astonishing, it was also bad taste for Tanzania to beg Americans for a big ship to tackle Somali pirates. What became of our (the land of Mwalimu) foreign policy?
