INTERIM REPORT ON FIRST BATCH SELECTION
13th September, 2014
The first selection of candidates into Bachelor Degree programs
has been conducted and below is a brief summary of the
process.
The overall capacity for Bachelor degree programs reserved for
Diploma holders is 31667, however, there are only 17043
applicants who have applied to Bachelor degree programs so
far. The total of 15090 applicants have reached program
selection stage and made choices of the programs they want to
study and 1053 applicants have not made any selection. The list
of those who have NOT made any selection will be availed
through this website www.nacte.go.tz and the TCU website
www.tcu.ac.tz. Individuals can see this information in their
profiles.
While each applicant was eligible to make up to five (5) choices,
the total number of choices made were 73,792 and only 11,881
are eligible choices leading to 4562 slots being filled as FIRST
BATCH applicants.
Kindly be informed that TCU and NACTE will jointly release
names of applicants on 22nd September 2014 after Joint
Admission Board meeting to be held at Ubungo Plaza. The
meeting will be attended by all Degree offering institutions. In
the meantime, our joint team has compiled the first batch of
selected to be given to institutions for approval. It is important
to note that the list cannot be released to the public before pre-
approval by universities internal organs.
If your name will not feature in the first batch of 22nd
September it will be sorely because your choices were too
competitive and hence will require that you make different
choices.

Ni kweli mkuu walitakiwa watoe angalau mwezi mmoja wa watu kujiandaa maana haijulikana kama wote watapata mkopo sasa mtu unaambiwa huna mkopo na tayari chuo kimeshafunguliwa then sijui unafanyaje???
