Mr. Mbowe’s plea to President Magufuli to have a national reconciliation [not sure even for what exactly] seemed to have come out of left field.

That was evidenced by the reaction of people whom one would consider to be allies’ of Mr. Mbowe and his CHADEMA.

So if one were to read the tea leaves, what conclusion would they arrive at?

Well, two come to mind.

1] CHADEMA under Freeman Mbowe has lost the plot. Therefore, he is ready and willing to capitulate. He doesn’t want that ‘smoke’ with Magufuli no more.

2] Because CHADEMA under Mbowe has lost the plot, the party, some of its members, and its allies are not singing from the same hymn sheet. That is why we saw the reaction that we saw.

What does this say about the future of the main opposition party in the country? It portends nothing but doom and gloom.

Bad. All bad.

Wanting to reconcile with your political opponent is a tacit admission that you don’t want it with him no more. That he has thoroughly beaten you into submission and now you’re tapping out.

I suspect even some of the prominent leaders of CHADEMA are sniggering behind Mr.Mbowe’s back for being such a weakling.

"When you are right you cannot be too radical, when you are wrong you cannot be too conservative"

Just show me two mistakes.

Or is that too much to ask?

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Nyani Ngabu,

If you're not sure about Mr. Mbowe's reconciliation plea, how can you be so sure about the future of the main opposition party, CHADEMA?

Let me play devil's advocate for a minute.

There is a case to be made that Mr. Mbowe is asking something that he knows full well he will not receive.

That this plea is for public consumption to paint Magufuli with mud, to chalk him as an unreasonable irreconcilable opponent.

Although most of the world has seen this, this could be another chess move to further isolate Magufuli as a mad dictator for the world to see.

So, Mbowe is asking a rhetorical question, to put this saga on record, with neither expectation nor plan of execution should Magufuli take him up on his offer.

I doubt their strategy, but that would be something akin to a Shaka Zulu rope a dope tactical retreat manouvre, only to surround the enemy from almost all sides.

Maybe I am overrating the strategies of CHADEMA.

But that would be the only sensible reason to me.

Pretentious and pompous choice of English vocabulary for stuff that could be worded in simple everyday language. Wonder who he's always trying to impress with all that bullshit.

Kiranga,

Well, others can see it as a weak move.

That, they talk a good game when they are not in his presence.

But when they come face to face, they fold like cheap suits and beg him to take it easy on them.

And that doesn’t reflect positively on them other than highlight the fact that they are at their wits’end.

Your punctuation phrasing grammer and spelling are not all the best......ungeweka kwenye lugha ya Taifa ujumbe ungefika vizuri japo ni wakizushi hauna mashiko.

So, supposedly you made a correction, right?

And you’re still getting it wrong but you have the unmitigated gall to say I made a whole bunch of grammatical errors.

When I ask you to show me those errors, you chicken out.

So what is “grammer”?

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
