Dar es Salaam’s Mwananyamala Hospital is yet to rid itself of congestion, particularly in the paediatric ward, with anything between three and four patients sharing one bed. The situation in blamed chiefly of shortage of buildings. Some mothers of children admitted to the hospital told this paper at the weekend, when this photo was taken, that it was of vital importance for the authorities concerned to treat the matter as an emergency.
