Tanzania to refurbish Port-bell Kampala rail

This was on the sidelines of a meeting between shippers from Uganda and Tanzania in Kampala.

The Tanzania ports Authority may soon undertake the refurbishment of the 9 kilometers Uganda railways route from Port bell to Kampala in case of delays or shortage of funds on the Ugandan side, to facilitate ease of cargo movement from the port of Dar es salaam.

This was on the sidelines of a meeting between shippers from Uganda and Tanzania in Kampala.
