Infrastructure Development, one of the biggest economic factor is investing in modern infrastructure for economic expansion. We can take an example of modern infrastructure for economic expansion. We can take an example of the harbor ports, all the regions located alongside the coastal areas should be financed heavily to build larger ports that will accommodate larger quantities of imports and exports. When the ports are organized in a systematic way, it will help in bringing new investors who will focus in setting their large industries along the coastal areas to have an advantage of using the ports which will be cost effective rather than settling in the countryside. The logistic expenses will decrease when importing and exporting raw materials and finished goods. As always, the citizens living in that area will benefit in employments and other amenities.
Construction of Bridges, there are a lot of areas in Tanzania that are in need of bridges which will help the country economically. Let’s take for example the Dar-es-salaam to Zanzibar route is in need of a bridge as soon as possible, although the Azam Marine and Zan Fast Ferries vessels are doing a great job but there are limitations in size, time and cost. The prices of certain goods won’t be fluctuating if there will be constant supply within the time applied and bring relief to the customers.
Tanzania – Congo (DRC) route, the two main routes that are available right now is passing through the Tunduma border in Mbeya and Kigoma. Tanzania and DRC geographically are separated by the Lake Tanganyika. If there are means that can be done to construct let’s say four to five bridges. The DRC Congo is large in terms of size and have only two routes is very low for a country like DRC. There must be a lot of toll bridges that will help to bring in more people which means more revenue for our country.
Tanzania – Kenya – Uganda bridge through Lake Victoria, the Lake Victoria is surrounded by three countries of the east African community namely Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda. In order to reach Uganda you need to pass at Mutukula border northwest of Bukoba. The border between Kenya and Tanzania is called Namanga border which passes through Arusha to Nairobi, Kenya and the other border is called Horohoro border which passes through Tanga to Mombasa, Kenya. Constructing a bridge through the Lake Victoria will help in reducing the distance for other regions to have easy access to Kenya and Uganda.

The situation that is happening right now is you can spend approximately 24 hours on a bus for a distance of 1,200 kilometers driving at an average speed of 50 kilometers per hour. These express highways eliminate grade crossings, controlled entries and exits and advanced designs eliminating steep grades, sharp curves and other hazards and inconveniences to driving. Their advantages include high-speed, greater safety, comfort and convenience for drivers and passengers and lower vehicle operating costs. Many of these express highways are toll roads but that is not an essential feature.
Metro Stations(Subway stations), as the years pass by the population increases rapidly. When this happens the city in particular needs to be equipped with the services that are used by the citizens in their daily activities. The Metro railways are one of the easiest and fastest mode of transport. The trains pass underground so it doesn’t meet with any traffic jams or any careless drivers who cause accidents. It helps the citizens to do their activities on time and not waste a lot of time on the road. For cities that are over-populated get some relief when these kinds of projects are introduced. Even the cities that are not over-populated can start this project early so that later on when the city grows all the necessary steps to maintain the population are accomplished.
