For a second day running, Tanzanian legislators are demanding that their president applies for an international loan that will see the country complete some development projects that are perceived to be stuck. Among the projects is the Standard Gauge Railway which was started by the Late John Pombe Magufuli.

The latest to add his voice to the ongoing debate is Reuben Kwagilwa a Member of Parliament representing Handeny constituency. He said in parliament that the country needs to go for the loans to complete the SGR which he claims will take close to 81 years to complete if the country does not think beyond the revenue from the country’s tax.

This new development is the complete opposite of what the former president the late Magufuli advocated for. Magufuli was a strong believer in national independence and depended so much on facilitating development using the country’s expenditure. Kindly follow the writer for more updates.
 
Those greedy MPs will be serving their 1st and last term in parliament simply by disturbing the implimentation Of CCM 2020-25 Manifesto.
Multitude of Tanzanians especially poor Class are eagerly and patiently waiting to see how CCM is completing the Magufuli mission and additional projects from her excellency Samia Hassan.

As Kenyans are struggling to petition the International Monetary Fund not to grant Kenya more loans, A member of parliament from Tanzania has left the house laughing when he demanded that the country should also follow Kenya and take a loan which can be used for developing the country.

According to Dr. Charles Kimei who represents Vunjo constituency in Tanzania, the president should apply to the international; lending institution to request a loan that can be used to facilitate major developments in the country. He said as the economy stands as of now, the country needs funds to complete developmental agendas that have been pending for a while.

He said Kenya was developed because of the loans they receive from the international community. This is however a complete opposite of what Magufuli advocated for when he was still the president of the Republic of Tanzania. He disregarded international loans choosing to utilize the available resources.

I concur with you infact hata Kunyaland kuna MP huwa yana ropoka ku seek spot light hapo ndipo SISIEM kwa Jina la JIWE watasema ziko wapi na watatapika izo pesa waliokuwa wanasema ziko hahaha
