We attract high value tourists sio Tom Dick and Harrys!geza soma hapa....yaani licha ya kwamba Kenya ina pigana na ugaidi toka Somalia, imekua ikipokea wageni wengi kuliko tanzania.....the same can be said for Uganda...it received more tourists than Tanzania...lol! vipi kuhusu Serengeti na Dar beaches...inaonekana zinaozea kule...lol!

My take ni maziwa yaruhusiwe on a reciprocal basis. Namuunga mkono Magufuli. Atakayezuia maziwa ya TZ na yeye ategemee same treatment.whats your take? tumezoea ukileta habari pale chini unaweka heading 'MY TAKE'...kisha unatiririsha upuuzi na umbumbumbu wako moja kwa moja... hivi leo imekuaje mkuu?😀😀 whats ur take?
Nakushauri nunua Azam na Brookside long life milk halafu linganisha ubora. I am discerning consumer I do quality siyo misplaced uzalendo.Namsifu Magufuli abane mpk Mruhusu maziwa yetu Kenya
Uwaache wanunuzi waamue na si Kenya authorities zi-ban products za Tanzania. Obvious kama Azam dairy products with different flavours r bad, won't sell they will remain in shelves n at last be removed by market forces. Allow them to get to store shelves first. That is fair competition...Nakushauri nunua Azam na Brookside long life milk halafu linganisha ubora. I am discerning consumer I do quality siyo misplaced uzalendo.
Hapo kuna ukweli kabisa...Tz bado ikija kwa regional dominancehata kuna wazungu na wahindi walio na njaa....my point is every country has its own challenges..but lets not forget who's who in East Africa...lets not forget the giant of this region of Africa...yule ambaye akikohoa wengine wanapata homa..anajulikana peupe...😀😀😀 yaani Kenya haina competition hapa...waje wengine tupambane..ethiopia wanajaribu lakini bado...niliskia wahabeshi juzi walikufa wengi wakijaribu kuvuka Mediterranean Sea kuingia Ulaya kwa kutumia boti za mitoni....lol!
500 bln out of 17trl? What percent is that n derived from which stocks? Are they leading stocks at DSE? WACHA UPUMBAVU nobody buys loss making KQ, EABL or UCHUMI or JUBILEE shares, very few individuals do n hence underperfoming..CRDB shares is the main reason overthere! Right know individuals r busy with Vodacom shares.Hapo kuna ukweli kabisa...Tz bado ikija kwa regional dominance
Kenya ikichemua lazima EAC yote ishikwe na homa, lakini wengine wakichemua si lazma Kenya ishikwe namafua

Magufuli puts Uhuru’s Milk Company in a Tight CornerThat's 225 million dollars disappeared!! I don't know about you but that's alot of money from Kenyan companies listed in DSE, I doubt if Tz companies have similar numbers bieng played around by stock investors in Kenya.
Anyway, do you think Kenya's NSE would have suffered the same effect if the situation was reversed under same condition?
Mara unasema nobody(tanzanians) buys shares in those loss making Kenyan companies....then next thing after that unasema Tanzanians are part owners of the companies...which is which...pick a point and stick to itNo, n the main reason being no Tanzanian company is listed at NSE! Ironically Tanzanian individuals, parastatals n companies r partly owners of those Kenyan companies!

Magufuli puts Uhuru’s Milk Company in a Tight Position
The fate of the Kenyatta-family owned milk processing firm Brookeside Ltd in the Tanzanian market has been sealed.
Newly-elected Tanzanian President John Magufuli has accused Brookeside of ‘unfriendly’ business practices. While addressing Tanzania Private Sector Foundation on Thursday, he said it was not fair for Brookside Dairy Limited to collect milk from Tanzania, process it in Kenya and then sell back to them.
“How many dairy firms do we have that are operational? Do you remember the Brookside company in Arusha? It used to collect milk from the Maasais in northern parts of Tanzania, take it to Kenya for processing then bring it back to us to drink… Enough is enough,” he told the business people.
The statement dimmed hopes of the Kenyatta family business’ plans to re-enter the market after forced exit in 2009. Tanzania banned Brookside’s milk collection and directed that all milk produced must be processed locally.
Mr John Gethi, the general manager of milk procurement and extension services, had disclosed that the company has plans to resume the collection in order to supplement to erratic supply from Kenya.
Brookside, the largest dairy processing company in East Africa, is co-owned by the Kenyatta family and a French company – Danone. The Kenyatta’s sold 40% of their shares to the French in 2014 at an undisclosed amount.
The processor, through its Brookside Dairy Tanzania Ltd, had acquired Tanzania Dairies’ Arusha plant in 2004 with the promise of turning it into a state-of-the art milk processing unit but later changed its strategy citing low milk supply.
Government officials were angered with the continued export of the milk to Brookside’s Ruiru-based plant saying the business model denied locals employment hence the ban.

Azam dairy r to be given that plant n FYI ur dairy industry can be taken down anytime none of of dairies have muscles to compete with Azam. Open that border n dance to the music. If ur industry was that big them u should hav entered Nigerian market ever since n not waiting till Dangote opens up his over US $ 800 mln facilities. What a loser nation? Anyways, as always, you guys like to celebrate before you even achieve anything.... Come back when Tanzania has built a state of the art milk processing plant that will be so big it will threaten Kenya's milk industry.... Right now all I see from that article is Tanzanian Milk farmers have been denied access to a willing buyer of milk without an alternative, brookside or any Kenyan milk company wont die because of Tz, they will just suffer losses for a few months and move on to the next market....Also they have a strong market in Kenya, remember Kenya hast the highest milk consumption (per capita) in Africa and the developing world.

Did Magu do his research before he uttered those words about raw milk bieng bought by kenya then resold to Tz at premium price... What if the raw milk bieng imported into Kenya was being sold more than the one taken back to Tz??? You just punished your own famers for no reason
Nobody as for now. The underlying issue is their state at DSE is insignificant.Mara unasema nobody(tanzanians) buys shares in those loss making Kenyan companies....then next thing after that unasema Tanzanians are part owners of the companies...which is which...pick a point and stick to it
