The 1st 2013 Kenyan Presidential Debate

These comments were unconstitutional and very unfortunate to ooze out of a presidential pretender.........he is going nowhere unless he begins earnestly to respect the rights of all Kenyans including ICC indictees

On Odinga i dont think so.You possibly dont really know the man.He was not as confident.

Probably becauses he was addressing more sober audience hence toned down his ussual colouful language punctuated with vitendawili and humor.

If you put aside your pathetic tribalism, Mohamed Abduba Dida was the STAR of the debate...

It is sad fact that you won't elect him just because of his TRIBE and religious views

Hii Brookehouse intetnational school ndio ya Kenyata family ama???

Hela ndefu sana hapa.....

Duuuh Martha Karua ana Confidence lol
Nilienda mdahalo ulivyoenda kwa ujumla na Odinga alivyobana na issue ya ICC

Not true.

It's very true that Dida will get the least votes according to the opinion polls. The Battle is between the CORDASIANS and THE HAGUE INMATES whose performances at the debate were very poor. You just want to vote them because of their pockets

Come rain, come sunshine, raila is still my choice lol

I was glad that the ICC issue was challenged effectively and answered accordingly by one Uhuru Kenyatta. First, the ICC issue was very moderated, no one seemed to prevail over the other candidate over the matter. Serious issues were also unearthed by martha karua concerning the coalition course between PNU troops and ODM troops that emminently derailed the whole process of the creation of a local tribunal, which was something that could not be overlooked.

I also admired paul muite's injections about he ICC matter, that it should not be deviated from a legal process and subject it to something simmilar to a popular vote or referundum. He also covered well how he will deal with certain sovereignty issues that emerged for instance the elemi triangle that the UN recently dished like a present to south sudan while our leaders kept silence!

on asked what he would do with migingo, he was pragmatist. you do not negotiate on something that is within your border demarcation, take KN or GSU to retake the island and then negotiate afterwards.

Raila amollo was taken to task over foreign trips that carry huge delegations, as usual was very vague and very defensive...................But was adamantly stuck to the fact that he has been all along the change agent that is always fighting entrenchment of status quo..On Security raila spot on invest in the security forces..excellent!

Ole kiyapi strong points were in the debate of health and education effectively gave his solutions................

Mr Dida though with a passionate expression of philosophy and religion, seems more of a human rights defender and most of the solutions he gave were outside the framework of the law and the new constitution..

The debate held yesterday is said to have costed about Euro 700,000 (USD 1.1m), watched by about 66 million people worldwide and hosted by a local NTV station.

Tafakari.
