THE ASSASSINATION OF THE FIRST PRESIDENT OF ZAIRE (CONGO DR) 59 YEARS AGO:
The CIA confirmed that the Assassination of Patrice Lumumba was the most important operation conducted on the African soil. He was Assassinated on 17th January, 1961.
Sadly, CIA (America & Belgium) paid the Zairean Opposition to arrest, torture and ultimately Assassinate Lumumba. This was the darkest day for Zaire (Currently Congo DR), all hope for freedom and peace was shuttered. Africans selling a fellow African is the saddest and shameful act.
Patrice Lumumba was one of the Most intelligent Pan Africanist in the Post Independence Era who opposed the Imperialists invisible hand in African Government after Independence through -Governance Policies. His Death was celebrated by Belgium.
Then the Belgian Government handpicked Mobutu Tsetseko who was their puppet, easy to corrupt as they took charge of the Natural Resources of Zaire (Currently Congo DR).
Mobutu Tsetseko became the most corrupt and powerful President of Zaire in Africa. His Family became richer than the Government. He led the Country into many wars which up to now landmarks of devastation and damage Socially, Economically and Politically are evident even today. He subjected the citizens to perpetual Refugees while Belgium and USA benefitted from the looting.
