For those who don't know, northern Kenya has unimaginable potential, esp in food production. I know of someone who designs water and irrigation systems who is flabbergasted at the inaction of govt in developing agriculture in the north, when all indications point the opposite way to common perceptions.For us in the renewable energy sector, majority of the projects are now in the north ( except geothermal) mostly wind n solar.. so many tenders.. so I know it's only a matter of time before I find myself there.
