The Online Contents Regulations were published on 16th of March 2018 by the GN No 133 of 2018. The Regulations apply to
1. Application services licensees
2. bloggers
3. internet cafes
4. online content hosts
5. online forums
6. social media
7. subscribers and users of online content; and
8. any other related online contents
The Regulations give the Authority (TCRA) to regulate bloggers, online forums, online radios and online televisions. The objective of the Regulation is to ensure that the general public is protected against the misuse and abuse of the cyberspace.
