The government is ready to review electoral laws

MINISTER JENISTA MHAGAMA SAYS; GOVERNMENT OF TANZANIA READY TO REVIEW ELECTORAL LAWS.​

The government is ready to review electoral laws, among others, being part of the preparations to the writing of a new constitution, the Parliament Said today.

Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office, Policy, Parliamentary and Coordination, Hon. Jennister Mhagama told the law makers that the government was ready for such a move at any time.

She made the statement in response to a question asked by the Special Seats MP, Sophia Mwakagenda (CHADEMA), who had wanted to know when the government would bring electoral laws for review in order to kick-start the constitutional writing process.
