In Christendom ,many Christians have been believing that Jesus whom they call Christ was a historical figure and was the Son of Man.my discussion aims at exploring into the hidden identity of Jesus and the Son of Man that christians and non-christians should come to light and get acquaintance of whether Jesus existed or not and who Son of Man is.
To begin my critical points ,I should declare that Jesus was not a historical figure however he is just a literary figure who was employed by the authors of the New Testament to act as if he was foreseeing the coming of the Son of Man who was a real historical figure as we shall see in this thread. To disprove the historical existence of Jesus,we should take a look at whether Jesus was the one prophesied to be born to a young virgin or not and that he was to be named Emmanuel.
If we find it not true , it's a starting point to prove that Jesus was not a historical figure.as it is seen in the book of Isaiah 7:10-16, Isaiah is told to prophesy that a male baby would be born to a virgin woman, that baby would be called Emmanuel ,and he would be a sign for when two kings who were against King Ahab would be brought down.
Just take your bible, put your focus on Isaiah 7:16,read it thoroughly without any bias.In Isaiah 8:3, Isaiah is seen going to a prophetess, then she conceived and bore a son who was then named Mahershalalhashbaz,if you compare Isaiah 7:16 to Isaiah 8:4,you come to realize that Mahershalalhashbaz was the prophesied Emmanuel.and to prove this claim right ,read Isaiah 9:6,it is declared that a son is given.so the simple deduction is that Mahershalalhashbaz is The prophesied Emmanuel and not Jesus as claimed by christians and other nin christians.so why this deduction?,it is because I want to reveal to the World that the quotation of Isaiah 7:14 in Matthew 1:23 was forged by the author of the Matthew to create a literary character Jesus whose literary function was to talk about a real historical figure Son of Man .
