The RC issued the order on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 while speaking to the youths where he said those who will violate the order and remain in Kilimanjaro region after seven days, will be considered criminals and legal action will be taken against them.
The RC also instructed the Kilimanjaro Police Commander (RPC)to monitor the entire network involved in the fraud by questioning the company's legitimate officials and the suspects to be brought to justice immediately.
The youths, from Mara, Tabora, Singida, Mbeya, Shinyanga, Kigoma and Tanga regions, are alleged to have been defrauded of promised jobs at Alliance Motion in Global by a man named Joseph.
The youths, who are claiming to have been charged TSh200,000 to TSh900,000, and promised employment opportunities, are currently rented rooms in Majengo and Njoro wards in Moshi and one room is occupied by four people claiming to live in a vulnerable environment and without food.
Kigaigai said the incident was a security risk and instructed the police commander to contact police commanders in other regions to monitor the network involved in the fraud in the country.
