The Emperor has no clothes, and almost everyone is clapping at how nice his suit is.

The folly of this grotesque fraud we call government is in the total disregard for inclusivity and consensus building. Any government formed on the foundation of the exclusivity of the few is bound to face Soviet like collapse at some point.

Moreover, it is one thing to have a Machiavellian conniving power at the throne, at least such a showman could pull all the strings of the puppet and keep up appearances of a band playing nice waltz even as the Titanic is sinking.

It is quite another to have a hardass country bumpkin who does not know which way is up at the helm.

Normally the banks run the business but in Tanzania the business runs the banks.

We have had tremendous general business decline recently, the reasons are obvious.

Its simply madness to expect banks will do well in the near future.

Would like to get an outline of those reasons you call obvious madam, just few of them.

Safiiii sana....maake hao washika hela wakianza kulia kwa kuripoti hayo ma_loss kwenye mizania yao sisi kina yakhe ni lazima tuzimie kwa njaaa..I,e ada za shule shida, kodi za nyumba hamna, nauli za kuendea job hakuna, hela za kuwatumia wazee kijiji no more,....sababu mzunguko sasa hakuna as far as wazungusha fedha through their deal called credit creation hakuna uhai.
Serikali imeyafanya makampuni mengi yatengeneze loss....and so yapunguze wafanya kazi...mwisho wa siku waliopunguzwa wanaishia kuwa waokota makopo sababu nssf, ppf & co...wasitoe fao la kujitoa...wameambiwa na serikali tukufu inayoongozwa na wasomi wapeleke hela zoote kujenga viwanda.
Hapo ndipo watu akili zitawarudi....JK watakuelewa tu.
Hii inaitwa God bless the dead.

If business runs banks, what would be the effect in the economy?

The media scares the businesses. Our president should now stop publicity on "kutumbua" and he should now go into a second phase of implementing "kutumbuana" silently. He has made a point and that's it.

"Too much of everything is harmful".

It is obvious that we are doomed to the bottomless pit and we don't even comprehend the disaster we are facing,my biggest worries of all is whether our misleaders are fully knowing where the country is heading to!
