Dear fellow citizens, currently there is on-going debate sorrounding the power of the Constituent Assembly in the Constitutional Review Process the on-going debate has lead to the raise of contentious legal issue on Whether the Constituent Assembly has legal mandate or legal power to change substantially or completely the Draft Constitution prepared by the Constitution Review Commission or not. The on-going debate and contetious legal issue thereof have led to the emergence of four (4) Schools of Thought. As both a Lawyer and Citizen of this Republic I have prepared the extensive and intensive Reasoned Legal Opinion on the issue of legal mandate or legal power of the Constituent Assembly in the Constitution Review Process. The said Reasoned Legal Opinion is attached herewith this post.
