Dear concerned parties

Settlers along the Mbezi Beach A river are facing a significant challenge posed by unauthorized sand extraction and corrupt practices within the contracting process.

The reported actions of the contractor from Tanroad are indeed alarming, with allegations of unauthorized construction, sand selling.

A situation has arisen at Mbezi Beach where settlers are concerned about the actions being taken by an unrecognized contractor from Tanroad. This contractor is claiming to be building the edges of the river and infrastructure while also selling sand at a high price without providing any official receipts or documentation. The settlers have raised their concerns about this issue, but the contractor has refused to address them. It seems that local leaders, police, and other officials have been influenced by bribes and are not taking action.

It is imperative that the Tanzanian police, the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB), Tanroad officials, District Commissioner Honorable Jerry Slaa, and Honorable Doto launch a thorough investigation into these claims. The welfare of the settlers and the integrity of the community are at stake, requiring immediate attention and decisive action.

My Take : The lack of transparency in engaging contractors and the absence of clear contractual agreements have allowed for illicit sand extraction to take place, leading to environmental degradation and financial exploitation among the settlers. It is evident that these actions not only violate legal regulations but also threaten the sustainable development of the riverbanks and surrounding areas.

addressing this pressing issue, it is crucial for government officials to intervene promptly and ensure accountability for all parties involved.

Transparency and adherence to legal protocols must be enforced to prevent further exploitation and environmental harm.

Authorities such as the district officer, environmental agencies, and relevant institutions should collaborate to investigate the validity of contracts, identify responsible parties, and take appropriate legal action to rectify the situation.

Furthermore, efforts should be made to educate and empower the affected settlers on their rights and responsibilities regarding land use and resource management.

By promoting awareness and fostering community engagement, we can work towards sustainable solutions that prioritize environmental preservation and equitable development.

In conclusion, immediate action is essential to address the challenges faced by the Mbezi Beach riverbank settlers. By upholding ethical standards, promoting transparency, and enforcing regulatory compliance, we can protect the interests of the community, preserve natural resources, and promote a culture of accountability and sustainability.

Mzee mbona hivi sasa, why lugha ya malkia, wadau wataweza kusoma hapa na kuelewa maudhui.

Maana mtu anaweza kuwa na hoja au swala la msingi ila presentation mbovu ndiyo ikamuangusha.

"while also selling sand at a high price without providing any official receipts"! Kwahiyo akipunguza bei ya mchanga hakutakuwa na tatizo tena. Weka vizuri jambo lako.
