The use of the word Man in the scriptures

The use of the word "MAN" simply implies to Humans, Human beings , Human creation (both men and women collectively in regard to creation. That is what i undersstand, but it has come to my attention most Tanzanians in the social media tend to think the word "MAN" applies only to ADAM in regard to creation. what is your say about this.

Kwenye Biblia neno 'MAN' linasimama for 'spirit'. Spirit haina gender ndio maana God created a man (adam na eva). Lakini kwasababu spirit haiwezi kuishi duniani akaipa mwili uliotengenezwa kwa udongo. Kwenye kiingereza 'HUMAN'. Hiyo HU inesomama badala ya HUMUS likiimaanisha udongo

In Genesis its clearly that "God create the man and woman by his image"
