Twaha Mpembenwe (Kibiti MP): A lasting image of Sheikh Doga’s Parting call!

Sheikh Muharram Juma Doga , passed away peacefully on August 19th, 2024, with an affectionate family by his bedside. His departure is completely unwelcomed, that has left me deeply saddened!

Sheikh Muharram J. Doga had a strong willpower personality, but he also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. He was generous, loyal, and brave. He was clever and full to the brim with religious knowledge Allah bestowed to him through training and all of his life experiences. He was a caring, dedicated and loving father of my life!

I will personally remember Sheikh Muharram Doga for many exceptional life opening kindness and generosity in my life History. The family mourn his demise, yet celebrate milestones he left in my education journey. In 1987,He took trouble to convince the school administration to enroll me in form one class at Alharamain Islamic College after failing entry examination. Yet again,I couldn’t proceed with secondary school studies from form three to form six without his helping hand that secured education sponsorship from a Sudanese “Munadhwamati Dawat Al Islamia” that paid me school fees when my parents couldn’t afford, In 2020,He blessed my desire to contest a Member of Parliament for Kibiti constituency. I don’t know how to repay your kindness!

When your tribulation time came, you conceded with dignity, strength, and full of love to me, you made a parting phone call on 19th August, 2024 at 18:27pm with massages of visiting on your sickbed and wishing me well in my political duties, little did I know that you were saying goodbye to me ,it is very painful memory, Sheikh you puzzled me, as unexpectedly you immediately responded to Allah’s call! Despite instilling a faith desire to calm down at times of distress, your demise has failed me!

I will always remember your kindness and harbor a lasting impression in my heart for opening a door to my current successful life! Innalillah Wainna ilayrajiuun

Your Son
Twaha Ally Mpembenwe
(Mp for Kibiti Constituency)
