Uhuru Kenyatta's Presidency…Tough WARNING to the US and EU from Museveni, Kagame and four others

By Charles Owori

It seems Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta's journey to State House is unstoppable now, after six African Presidents wrote a letter to the United Nations on Wednesday, warning the European Union and United States of America against imposing sanctions on Kenya if Uhuru Kenyatta wins the presidency on March 4th.

Kenya's Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta

The Head of States from Uganda, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Burundi and DRC warned that if they dare impose sanctions, they will cut diplomatic ties with them because they rely on the stability of Kenya for their survival.Rwanda and Uganda further added they will pull out troops from Sudan and Somalia if that happens. The Presidents insisted that Kenyans are mature enough to elect their leaders and must be respected.

We say this with affirm our right to live. And we mean it," the letter added.
The Presidents are; Uganda strongman Kaguta Museveni, Rwanda President Paul Kagame, Burundi President Pierre Nkurunziza, Silvia Kiir of South Sudan, Ethiopia President Girma Wolde-Giorgis, and DRC President Joseph KabilaDeputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta has been indicted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) and at the same time he is a Presidential candidate in the incoming poll.

EU and US have threatened the country with economic sanctions if Uhuru ascends to the top seat on March 4th.

MY TAKE

Kagame and Museveni et al are sensing the same dossier in the coming elections in the backyard so what they r trying to do is playing influence! It is sad that their deployment of troops to support AU missions in Sudan and Somalia is used as a bait to influence the EU and the US! These two lacks moral authority to come into UK defense!

I see, African Leaders at their nightmare

All these are landlocked countries! Any instability in Kenya will affect their economies!

As much as i distaste this, UK may carry the day. Just from trainning to oversee the election process come march 4țh. JUBILLATED regions are truelly jubillated while CORDED quaters are very much alike.
The EAC frenzy, including Salva Kiir and the Ethiopian strongmans letter to UN is indicative of alot.
I think Kenyas fray into Somalia was a calculated move to squeeze UN's intended move to sanction Kenya. With UG, Tanzania, Kenya,Ethiopia and Rwanda threatening withdraw al of troops on all away missions, UNs soft belly is exposed implying Kenya becomes untouchable....unless sth changes somewhere.
And if so, all east african states, Kenya, UG, TZ, Rwanda will observe an eastward trade policy. The EU/Americans cant risk that.

I equally dont side with the above presidents, Kabaridi usually has the blood for such a topic, mayb he can answer this from a jubillated perspective

Rwanda is in the same mess that the international missions have tried to ambush kenya with, so what do you expect the inclusion of kagame and M7 is indeed a game changer, which the west have to go back and recalculate on their drawing board.

vis-a-vis other factors economic/financial, the west also knows that sanctions on kenya might also affect their interests including international investors.

When you find yourself cheering on dictators and mass murderers and slandering everyone else just because of "mtu wetu"...something (your moral compass, maybe?) has gone seriously wrong somewhere!

Cheer on

on the day
you will be the victim
you will no longer be in doubt

cheer on bro.

The same coward African rulers do they have guts to write such a letter?!! unatania wewe

Cooked story, jubilee moles at work.nani anaujasiri wa kuiandikia un baruwa?magazeti ya kenya au ya nje yangeandika.tupe source.

It is funny because last time I checked Kagame the dictator and rwanda had an excellent report and was featuring prominently on the clean list and the best emerging cities, ghadaffi was dictator but failed to get such accolades. Opposition parties in rwanda are operating from South Africa true but
kshaka and livefire making tactical appearances can you explain how Kagame turns into a despot overnight and explain the factors that determine anyone to be labelled a dictator. In the mind of the human being there is nothing like a dictator. it all depends with those at the end of the bargain!

Kabaridi. My interest begins and ends with Kenyas self right ti exist be it with itself or international community. The fray of Kagame is well documented, a killer whose active killer squads are actively persecuting the tutsi populace in DRC kivu regions. Can u explain this, how does a nation oppose employment of drones to pursue rebels...that in a nutshell should tell u how Rwanda became a despot nation.

Am not simply making tactical appearances, am fully armored with a tactical unit to boot; UK is the last president i wanna see Kenya have....unfortunately al be overseeing elections elsewhere so i might not vote but i will endevour to.

The empty wishful letters Kaguta has written wont alter the resolve of a Kenyan to choose the right leadership.

The best president listening to the debate is PK but not for our democratic tribal standards apparently. I believe a Raila govt will sweep the status quoist out of the radar. No more should the presidency be misused as an instrument of power to amass wealth.
In conclusion i take didas word....may God guide us to the right path.
