That contract is hidden inside Museveni's underwear, No one has ever seen it even this purpoted author of the article. For kenya's contracts they are in mama ngina kenyatta's safe bra pocket. Mombasa have never been chosen to ship oil to international market. It's a proposed lamu port which was structured to export oil from all fields of Hoima and lokichar. Msipende kuwa waongo.

We r talking about exporting to world market, did MSA port even mentioned on that?
Remember, among the parameters knocked down Kenya to win a pipeline were proposed lamu port is not existing also monsoon winds can blow the port and ships.
No where MSA port mentioned despite being fully equipped facility.

It is understood that Uganda chose Mombasa for its early exports due to the shorter distance and availability of port infrastructure for loading oil on to ships.

“Transport to Mombasa will be all road. The shippers are looking at Mombasa,” officials said.

“The crude has been in ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) tanks for years and has been kept in 3,000 containers.”
