CIC is not a military Rank.It is a civilian title of the person who is president.
Only people who have served in the military should adorn uniform, and this is the tradition in democracys.

Uhuru was inaugurating and giving a new regiment its colors. He is their commander in chief and has to dress the part during such rare military events.
Kenya's military structure has never and was never mirrored on the US.

Boss In democracies, Commander in chief is NOT a millitary rank..No soldier can attain C in C rank in the course of his duties as a soldier. This title is bestowed on civilians who become president.

The military exists on behalf of the people. And that's why the people chose its leader. As long as you can command the forces especially in war, it is not merely a 'title' as you claim.
