Uhuru Win triggers violence in parts of Kenya...

Kibera, Mathare, Eastleigh and several other parts of Nairobi are rocked by violent protests or celebrations at this very moment in the wake of Uhuru Kenyatta's declaration as winner of this yr's elections .

My friend Cathy who works at Pumwani Hosp. is currently held up at that hospital due to the running battless and sporadic gunshots.

Kisumu is in the throes of very shameful orgy of violence and destruction of property. Gunshots and running battles btwn the protesters and the police happening at this very moment in tgat city. Power supply has been disrupted in many neighborhoods thea.

I can hear the screams and wailings and whistlings in the street close to where I stay I can tell it is a jubilant crowd celebrating the outcome of tge elections. But in Kibera, not far from where I stay, I can make out the sounds of violence- explosions and poignant screams emanating frm that part of Nairobi.

Cant confirm about the riots in Mombasa.

Actually naskia kamenuka mbaya. The most affected is Kondele which is a killing field more than 5 unconfirmed dead then followed by nyamasaria then carwash and nyalenda. That is only Kisumu in Nairobi- Kibera and Mathare in Nyanza- Bondo is. affected.

Infact My auntie in Nyalenda is saying she can hear constant gunshots they can't sleep. And many people on Twitter have said 5 people have died in Kondele. And houses are being burnt in Kondele. We just have to wait till tomorrow to confirm coz local media is not showing.
