University of Nairobi emerges top in East Africa again and the only institution in Africa's top ten from the region.

According to Webometrics, 2018's top East African institution is the university of Nairobi at number 7 in Africa. It was the only East African institution in the top ten though Makerere University came close at number 11. Egerton University came third at number 23 in Africa while Kenyatta University came fourth at number 24 closely followed by University of Addis Ababa at 25. Moi University came in at 28 closing the total number of institutions from East Africa in the top 30 at 6. Follow the link below to see the full list.

Exactly my point.

Someone said Udom is EAC's best, disregarded Udsm and the Kenyan ones apparently for lack of land and buildings. universities are for tutoring, it is tutors and not land that determine their performance

Duh! niliingia chuo kikuu kabla Udom haijajengwa hata. Na chuo nilichosomea ni cha tatu EA, Egerton university.

Don't console your sorry state of Tz universities with generalities! The rankings are for a reason and if none from Tz fared any better means nothing in them met the bench marks!
