The book of Revelation, a prophecy, when will it happen?, who knows, lake of fire, my head HURTS. The sinking feeling when you find out that you've got no 76 virgins waiting for you at heaven's gates. A token of appreciation for the first person to invent the telescope because space looks pretty in the vast Kalahari darkness. The Spanish really are coming and I don't have to be a doubting Thomas to appreciate that spectacle.

Speaking of doubting Thomas’ is seeing really believing?, is that the only way to separate fact from fiction?. I mean I'm not particularly interested in the afterlife but if you really wanted to know then try hanging yourself from a tree to the point where you're comatose, half dead. At this point you'd still be on earth but also in some utopian land far, far away.

It all comes down to thinking through everything logically. If you do this, that will happen. If you don't do that, then this will not happen. It's about time to stop being a doubting Thomas and to start using our innate God given abilities of critical thinking to address various challenges in society

Maybe common sense is not that common for those who still believe that seeing is believing…….
