Common cold could prevent people contracting Covid-19 — study finds
According to researchers at the Imperial College of London, people with high levels of T cells are less likely to contract Coronavirus. (GB News)
"We found that high levels of pre-existing T cells, created by the body when infected with other human coronaviruses like the common cold, can protect against Covid-19 infection,” one of the lead authors of the study said in a statement.
However, the authors maintain the best way to be protected from Covid is, “to be fully vaccinated, including getting your booster dose."
