No. I did that yesterday from Charlie Browns (Fish 'n Chps) and folks said I pay too much.They are converting USD to Tsh and it looks outrageous.

So I got in the kitchen myself today. If only to counter that spendthrift image.

The party is at a neighbors crib, so they will do the whole enchilada there and I will bring some lasagna and wings with me for potluck.

What did you think this was going to be like? Hooters and all?

Is there a chicken wings place in Dar? Do they even sell chicken wings at supermarkets/malls?

I’ll be there late spring, early summer. The weather then is more pleasant than it is now, plus the princesses will be off school.

So it makes it for a perfect vacation.

I have to wait until at least late June, work schedule.

There is a young fellow here who is just finding out that onions do not grow on trees, and he has never seen a mango tree in his life.He doesn't know what cassava is.

It will be interesting to introduce him to the Tanzanian scene.

Is there a basketball spot that is lively in Dar nowadays? I am afraid my recollections are from the TANESCO (Drive In) days, Don Bosco and Master Jays place in Obay, I am sure that is ancient history by now.

She ain’t going there. Not ready for it, yet. Will be too much of a culture shock.

Dar is about as much as she can handle, for right now.

But I’ll definitely go. I always do. Gotta go visit where pops is resting.
