A career and a veteran Tanzanian diplomat has strongly and unequivocally lashed out at CCM for dismissing from the Party Zanzibar's veteran politician and one of the architects of the new face of today's Zanzibar, Mr Hassan Nassor Moyo, calling such an action as a great loss to CCM and not to Mr Moyo.

Without mincing his words the diplomat who was our country's former deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tanzanian ambassador and High Commissioner to several countries, wrote…." fighting for Zanzibar's rights in the Union is no offence and is not tantamount to opposing the Union".

The diplomat concludes…" Removing Mr Moyo from the Party is an intentional trip up. It's only the foot that would be hurt …. Pitty! Pitty! Pitty!".

The diplomat – a high ranking Tanzanian so far to come out cleanly and openly with dissatisfactions over the Moyo's dismissal from the Party, once criminalized corruption in the country when he quoted Mwalimu Nyerere speaking in Edinburgh in the 90s that – "There is a receiver and a giver …..giving bribes is tax deductible here (in Britain) and is never condemned. It should be a criminal offence".

Whether the foot would really be hurt or not, let's wait for the people of Tanzania to decide in October, 2015.

Maji ya moto hayo hayaungjzi nyumba.
Na huyo diplomat bubu hana jina?Ajitaje na atakwea pipa fasta kurudi Zanzibar.

Samahanini, kumbe stori nilikuwa sijaikopia yote kutoka huko Zanzibar Ni Kwetu. Basi naimalizia hapa!
Jina lake ni Balozi Dr. Abdulkadeer Shareef. Yeye sio mtu wa kutishwa. Watanzania, mkitaka Rais safi kutoka uchaguzi wa mwaka huu 2015 basi tayari jina ni hilo hapo. Please, google him.

The following is from the horses's mouth!

I watched the News broadcast, the only reason for Mr. Moyo membership eviction from CCM is going against party's principles...

For few of us who have lived in Zanzibar it is very easy to know why Mzee Moyo is facing the fate...We have political parties which are like trains....if you want make it move it must be on rail. After all these years still CCM leaders believes on 1960's thoughts and policies.

Mzee Moyo being a truly patriotic citizen has questioned a lot of policies especially on Union matters for the best of both Zanzibar and Tanganyika.
I once met Mzee Moyo in Zanzibar, the few minutes that I listened to him convinced me that unlike others he is ''honesty and free to speak'' on matters pertaining the Union between Zanzibar and Tanganyika.

Why is it a taboo to speak on any issue about the Union matters?

How long CCM will hold into intimidation and party's membership eviction as tools to silence those who dare to speak about the Union?
