We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Virtual Data Collector to join our team and contribute to our expanding database of real estate properties and market trends.
Job Description:
As a Virtual Data Collector, you will be responsible for gathering, organizing, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date information on real estate properties and market conditions within Dar es Salaam. This role is entirely remote and requires strong research, data entry, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
* Data Collection:
* Conduct online research to identify and collect data on residential and commercial properties for sale or rent in Dar es Salaam.
* Gather information from various online sources, including real estate websites, social media platforms, online directories, and public records.
* Collect data on property specifications, pricing, location, amenities, and contact information.
* Research and document current market trends, including pricing fluctuations, demand, and supply.
* Data Entry and Management:
* Accurately enter and organize collected data into a designated database or spreadsheet.
* Ensure data integrity and consistency through regular verification and updates.
* Maintain a well-organized and easily accessible database.
* Communication and Reporting:
* Communicate effectively with the team regarding data collection progress and any challenges encountered.
* Provide regular reports on collected data and market insights.
* Potentially contacting listed property owners to gather missing information.
* Quality Control:
* Verify the accuracy of gathered information.
* Remove duplicate or inaccurate data.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in data collection, research, or a related field.
* Strong internet research skills and proficiency in using online resources.
* Excellent data entry and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Familiarity with the Dar es Salaam real estate market is a plus.
* Access to a reliable internet connection and computer.
* Familiarity with online spreadsheets(google sheets, excel).
* Ability to communicate in English and Swahili.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in the real estate industry.
* Knowledge of data management software.
* Experience with CRM software.
Compensation:
