Baada ya marubani wa Kenya Airways (KQ) kufanya mgomo, wafanyakazi wengine kupitia chama chao cha KAWU wanatarajia kusitisha majukumu yao kuanzia Saa mbili usiku wa leo Novrmba 5, 2022.
Wamesema wanatarajiwa kufanya hivyo kwa kuwa walipata ruhusa ya Mahakama Agosti 15, 2022 kufuatia kukwama kuhitimisha Mkataba wa Makubaliano ya Pamoja (CBA) na kwa kuwa menejimenti haikuonyesha juhudi zozote kuhitimisha makubaliano hayo.

Kenya Aviation Workers To Join KQ Pilots On Strike
As the Kenya Airways (KQ) pilot strike continues, Kenya Aviation Workers Union (KAWU) are set to join in withdrawing their services.
In a statement by KAWU dated November 5, secretary general Moss Ndiema said that the strike will happen from 2pm.
He said following a court order on August 15, 2022 had given KAWU workers the go ahead to go on strike following a stalemate as regards the failure to conclude a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
"Pursuant to the said court order, this is to instruct and advice all unionisable employees at KAA to commence the strike at 2pm today, 5th November, 2022 in compliance with the court order."
Ndiema said management had shown no effort to conclude the CBA.
