Sijasahau miundombinu nimeshazungumzia tayari vitu kama the total rail track length, electrification etc. By the way viaduct ya Dar tokes pale station ni over 2.5 km. Gautrain ina viaduct nyingi na ndefu kwasababu inapitia mijini (inter city train). Design ya station zote za Gautrain ni very simple with very limited space inside the stations, ndani ya station zoo hakuna sehemu za kukaa wala sehemu za migahawa au restaurants. Kitu kizuri walichofanya ni parking lots zoo ni kubwa na kutosha. The only distinct advantage kwa Gautrain ni bus service to/from the train stations for its passengers (at a small fee).

Kuhusu ukali wa trains, EMU za Gautrain ni za kawaida sana, kwanza hazina nafasi ya kutosha mle ndani na kama una mizigo/mabegi mengi to/from airport ni sida maana sehemu ya kuweka mizigo ni finyu sana. Pia Gautrain hazina sehemu ya chakula/buffet, also hazina mabehewa ya kulala na wala hazine different configuration ya classes etc. Hii yote ni kwakua Gautrain ni intercity train na sio long distance train kama SGR inayojengwa Tanzania.
 
Unasema station zao ni simple. Wewe ni kichaa, umeona station zenu kwenye hio video ya Yapi Merkezi ya November uone jinsi station zenu ni mbovu? Sio kwa ubaya ila huwezi linganisha station za Gautrain na zenu. Hata kwa ukubwa station za Gautrain ni kubwa kushinda zenu. Infact station za Sgr ya Kenya ni kubwa na rembo kushinda zenu. Halafu kwenye train, usiongee vibaya kuhusu train yao eti ni simple ama haina sehemu za kulala ilhali nyie hamjui zenu zitafanana vipi. Nakuhakikishia zenu pia hazitakuwa na mahali pa kulala na zitakuwa na muonekano mbaya kushinda hizi.

Design ya stations za Gautrain ni kwa ajili ya inter city mass transport. Ukiingia ndani ya Gautrain station halls una very few options, you can either go to the Automatic ticketing machine or go to sales counter, there is no place where you can seat down for a coffee or cold drinks. Otherwise you are required to go straight to the train platforms where there are some few very uncomfortable steel benches for you to wait for your train to arrive, most people prefer to wait their trains while standing.

Yale majengo makubwa unayoona ya Gautrain stations most of them ni parking lots kwa sababu Watu bwana park magari Yao asubuhi wanapokwenda ofisinin na Kurd kuchuka join wanaporudi home so there is a big demand ya parking wktk stations.

The Dar es salaam SGR station building is way bigger and sophicated that any of the existing Gautrain stations.

Kuna faida kujenga lavish SGR stations coz panawekwa huduma muhimu kama malls, banks, hotels nk.
