Watu 50 waambukizwa kipindupindu hotelini Nairobi

Nairobi, Kenya

Takriban watu 50 wameambukizwa ugonjwa wa kipindupindu kwenye hoteli inayoandaa mkutano wa afya kwenyr mji mku wa Kenya Nairobi.

Maafisa wanaonya kuwa huenda idadi ya walioambukizwa ikaongezeka. Wanasema kuwa wale wote walioambukizwa ugonjwa huo wamelazwa hospitali moja mjini Nairobi.
Chanzo cha ugonjwa huo bado hakijulikani lakini mara nyingi husambaa kwa njia ya chakula na maji.

Mwezi uliopita watu watano walikufa kutokana na ugonwa wa kipindupindu na kulazimu utawala kuweka vituo vya ukaguzi kote mjini Nairobi.

The National IHR Focal Point of the United Republic of Tanzania has provided WHO with an update on the ongoing outbreak of cholera.

As of 20 April 2016, a total of 24,108 cases, including 378 deaths, had been reported nationwide. The majority of these cases had been reported from 23 regions in mainland Tanzania (20,961 cases, including 329 deaths)

To date(2016), Zanzibar has reported 3,057 cases, including 51 deaths, from five regions. The majority of the cases are from Unguja Island (1,818 cases, including 38 deaths) while Pemba Island has reported a cumulative total of 1,239 cases, including 13 deaths.

What really astonishing is not actually the mere outbreak but where the outbreak occurred! An outbreak at a hotel is a big shame indeed[emoji38] [emoji38] [emoji38]

An outbreak can occur anywhere just like it did in Tanzania and i don't think it was an intention of anyone to spread the disease. It wasn't the wish for the affected to contract the disease either.
Those are people like you and I or your friend/family, not animals.
so instead of laughing at the affected persons i think we should be wishing them a recovery from that Unfortunate situation. Well at least if at all you have some humanity left in you.

Quick recovery for thevaffected and an investigation on the hotel. How could that happen in such a place?

And as for the Tanzanians, pls. U have suffered a far worse incident of the of the outbreak, this one is very minute and pretty much under control.

nipo hapa Nairobi kuwafundisha namna nzuri ya kutunza mazingira na kukwepa kuugua kipindupindu.

Ni kama naona kabla ya uchaguzi mengi yanajiri huko, na tunasikia habari nyingi zisizo nzuri.
