Monsanto is the Monster of the Unhealthy Food Production. Monsanto can be broken down by the Webster's Dictionary. Mon is Monster and Santo is poison. This is my interruption. Anyone connected to Monsanto should never win the Food Prize. They have damaged the soil for the last 80 years. My theme: Soil is the Life Blood of the Earth and all food comes from the Soil--- Food and Health in this Order. Monsanto has ruined the Health of the Soil, the Health of our plants, the Health of the Humans and Animals in the world. It is Greed over Humanity. I have sixty years of Organic Experience.
Eighty years ago chemical fertilizer was introduced my Monsanto. Before this all crops were grown by the Organic method. This was not recognized as such. It was the natural way of growing the world's food. Monsanto took advantage of the visible appearance of the plants when stimulated by the chemicals. It was sold to the Farmers as the way to produce more and feed the growing population. Following is my view of Farming Organically and winning many awards over the Chemical Farmers in the 1950's.
** In the 1940's it started with super 20% phosphate made with treating rock phosphate with sulfuric acid. The stimulant made for an impressive plant above ground and killed earthworms and life below. Lime had to be added to raise the PH.
** Next came all three nitrogen, phosphate and potash (NPK) with all different formulated amounts. They are very acid and killers of natural life in the soil. The big three are all water soluble and 100% available to the plants over riding trace elements that the plants need for good health.
** Next was herbicides (a growth hormone) to kill weeds that were promoted by the chemical fertilizer. Now weeds are immune to the herbicides that farmers never had before.
** Now stronger insecticides to fight off insects and new ones come along all the time. Insects attack unhealthy plants that are caused by the chemical stimulation.
** All residues from the above over time ends up in the soil and picked up by the plants and passed up the food chain over a period of time. My theory is this can cause many of the illnesses today. Cancer is not controlled and gets more serious all the time. Children's, autisms is on the rise Heart attacks and strokes.
** Hybrids that are developed by crossing the different varieties which are suppose to ward of many problems caused by nature and get bigger yields. The seeds can-not be used by the grower as the next generation will not produce. This is the first step in breaking Gods Law of reproduction. Everything Organic is recycled through reproduction. Now Monsanto is on the way for control.
** In corn the hybrid was accomplished by removing the tassel of one Varity to control the cross. This was time consuming as every other row the tassel was removed by hand.
** To speed up the process and save labor another system was developed. To sterilize the variety that was-not wanted by chemical process. This was a failure as blight went from the North to the South

** This brings us to GMO'S and it is only 16 years that 80% of all corn planted. Genetically Modified Organisms are all Chemical Laboratory developed by injecting seeds. The seeds are now a choice for the farmers. For two hundred dollars they can purchase 50 pounds of seeds with just GMO or for 400 dollars you can buy seeds with weed control and insect control. This plants two acres and the seeds can-not be saved for planting from the crop.. Monsanto is in control and has been for 80 years. This makes a one shot deal when planting. I do agree that the soil is best with less traveling. I do not agree with crossing plant genes with animal. One thing the Scientist missed is the root rot is a big problem.
** What you need to know about: Genetically modified (GM) milk. In 2007 17% of the US cows were injected with RBGH. A hormone used to make cows produce more. It is also linked to, increased risks for certain cancer.
Summary:
** All chemical Fertilizer is hot and the acid will stunt the plant roots. The tender hair roots are the scouts for plant food and trace elements and minerals. All are very essential for healthy plants. Healthy plants ward of insects and disease.
** Air, Water and Food are the most three essential elements for Life on Earth. Soil is the Life Blood of the Earth and all Food comes from the Soil---- Food and Health in this Order. Monsanto and all the Chemical Companies are ruining the soil. There is 100 million tons of synthetic nitrogen spread on the planet every year. This affects all three essentials. The N burns up the carbon (Organic Matter) plant food and releases it as CO2 the green house gas. Seventy percent of the CO2 come from this. I am quoting Dan Charles who has traveled the world and this is his finding. The N is 100% water soluble and the plants can-not use all of it so it leaches to the water ways causing pollution. It is a very fast growing element for the plants and stimulant. The plants do-not pickup some of the trace minerals for healthy Food.

I had very poor grades in English. He stated he would not trust my book as it was just for money and greed. I guess when I get my publishing cost back I will be Greedy. I am just happy to get the word out that Chemicals are killers and cause many illnesses I asked if he had read my book and tell me what is not true. I am still waiting for the answer. I say If Money and greed are a problem look at Monsanto. Their Farm Chemical Salesmen are billionaires. I don't feel my book --- Learned by the Fencepost-- has made any one sick and even death.
