The great power of the western world particularly USA was based on technology, the famous silicon valley. For years, the USA has been the center of inventions. These inventions gave the western world the upper hand on various crucial part of life like economy, communication, energy, transport, education, medicine, and of course, military. These aspects allow them to manipulate the world remarkably fast and effective.
What happened on the last 30-50 years?
To me, I believe that we hit the peak of invention, and we are now in the phase of application, there almost nothing new, rather, we apply and make what we have the best. Any serious nation can keep up and apply technology and take it to the next level, China is vivid example of this this.
Now the USA is trying to keep the race with China but I doubt if they will come to anything remarkably new to the point of creating a wide gap with the rest of the world. American citizens are shocked how China use technology to buld the better future while their country look like trash, with more money sent to "our greatest ally", you who am talking to.
The Western world was the empire built on monopoly, and that doesn't not work anymore.
By the way, Palestinians people have the right to self determination, respect and better life. Everyone deserve better life.
