So Joho today Said he and William Kingi (not to be confused with Amason Kingi Governor of Kilifi County-malindi) and Amason too are enacting measure for / to Ensure their County of Mombasa and Kilifi secedes from Kenya and Form its own Government and Military
What to know
Mombasa is 294km2 -smaller than Singapore or Equal hazijaachana sana
Mombasa has 1.2mn people within it and about 800,000 remnants scattered across Kenya.
Mombasa Port is The third largest in Sub saharan Africa
And Kenyas Second Largest Airport
Its A large historical city on its own
The county and the city are divided into four divisions:
Mombasa Island – 14.1 km²
Changamwe – 54.5 km²
Likoni – 51.3 km²
Kisauni - 109.7 km²

Kilifi County on the other hand is
12,245.9 km 2 (4,728.2 sq mi)
With 1.8mn people
Kilifi has 1.8mn people there about!

ALL sovereign power belongs to the people being governed by The same Katiba
But the power of the people is delegated to a representative selected by the people through voting to Voice their own Opinions at The National And County Levels
Sovereign Power of the people can both be exercised at the
National Assembly or
County Assembly
This is Why precisely People assembly will work in opposition regions
Let me explain in opposition regions NASA Leader has instructed all his elected leaders to listen to the voice of the majority people which will be voiced at Local Kamukunjis at town and city halls countrywide and implement their views with immediate effect!!

So they can Legaly and within law act against National assembly orders and Still exist!!
So about the Referendum ya Kujitenga
Chapter 2 (5) of the Katiba says
Territorial issues are defined under the act of parliament
An Act of Parliament Can be overruled or further dedined by the sovereign Rule of the people of Kenya
Through A referendum
Or
A Parliamentary vote brought about by the same people
So NASA doesnt have majority in Parliament so we cannot really expect parliament to work for us here
This refers you to section 255(b)
An ammendmemt into the constitution can only be done when touching on this subject
Look at 255(1)b
To get the amendment one can Introduce it into parliament proceedings
Or
Gather 1mn signatures from registered Voters
To overide parliament rule and place the decision soley on the people to which its subjected!!
Present it to IEBC for verification
And Order for an Election
Look closely after IEBC approval the Bill shall be introduced into the Specific County assembly in question
Ie...Mombasa County...
....if it passes in the county its immediately submitted to the National Assembly for consideration
Both The
National assembly and the
Senate
If it passes by majority in both Houses
Then The president assents to it within 14days into law and seccesion occurs with immediate effect
If Not - doesnt pass in both Houses
It immediately goes into referendum and the people override the president and parliament and write their own law
The power is for the People!!!
So Katiba yakubali kama unataka kujitenga na Kenya

The people of Mombasa will ultimately decide their Fate
And create their own country Ultimately!!
