What safaricom's 1.2 Trillion profit means to Tanzanian firms.

Yap. Yuko sahihi 100%
Then you mistaken him by big margin, Magufuli ni socialist leader leading socialist party which leads country in socialist principals where everyone counts. (Rais wa wanyonge) Ukifikiri kama Tanzania itakuja kuwa kama Kenya wakati wa Magufuli utasubiri.

Mjomba unajichanganya sanaa..hivi kweli unaweza kula bila kufanya kazi mahali popote pale?

Kuna nchi nyingi zilizo na social welfare kuna watu wanalipwa na serikali kwa kwenda kazini, unapata mshahara na tax credit from the state real extra money from state. Again your mistaking him, kusema Magufuli ni socialist wa mdomo tu sio kweli, elimu bure ni socialist idea, bima kwa kila mtanzania ni socialist na zimeaza kugaiwa. Unemployment benefit ni socialist principals stay tune on that. Wazee matibabu bure socialist, watoto wasio na uwezo kupata huduma zote socialist principal. Mashirika ya serikali kufufuliwa another socialite idea not capitalist. Nini kingine unataka?

You phoned Nigeria and they told you they've rejected it? And Mpesa has never been introduced in Nigeria.
Mobile money succeeding in one market does not mean it will succeed in another. Regulations are different and in some banking was already entrenched.

Safaricom's Mpesa transacted $81 billion in the last financial year. You can add up your meager GDPs to see if they can even match that.

India's largest telecom companies are Airtel, Vodaphone etc. None of which are owned by their government. I don't know which sector you are saying they have refused private investments.
If you're talking of road, rail and other huge infrastructure, common sense will tell you that even in capitalist countries, this is a government job.
Private companies can run the buses but the government builds the road.

Tanzania is still struggling to get out of ujamaa which China and others left decades ago.

You keep looking for Safaricom's 'dodgy part'. If you go looking for dirt you'll get it. This applies everywhere even in your house.
Fact remains that Safaricom is a behemoth that not even your 20 biggest companies combined can match in profit.

And its clear you have no understanding what a monopoly is.
Here's Google definition: The exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.
Kenya Power is a monopoly because you can't get electricity elsewhere.
KBC was a monopoly in the 90s because the government couldn't give signals to anyone else.
etc.

With Safaricom, you have a choice of Airtel, Telkom and Faiba.
All of them offer voice, sms, data and mobile money services.
There is not a single service they can say Safaricom has exclusive control of, and which they have been denied.

They only have themselves to blame for allowing Safaricom to gain such a market share.

Haha, I've told you I'm only interested with ugly side of Safaricom not this fake glittered you've been paintings to us here. It will be nice to hear Safaricom music dealings and faulty equipments they always purchased through poor executed procurement.

Safaricom went to Nigeria with an idea of introduce mpesa to local market, results where not good. Strongly, it is Safaricom who went there and not the main owner Vodafone. Why Nigeria have to deal with middleman instead of the owner him themselves? Looks like wheeler dealer to me, the same position Kenya find themselves with EAC rule or originality.

I wonder If Kenya was not owing huge amount of debt to the Chinese, they will still be singing praises to Chinese. Kenya has spend good amount of her independence slugging China so that it can keep western money tap open. Its unimaginable to hear a Kenyan talking about China in highly regards, madeni sio mchezo you're all learning pinyin these days.

I hope you'll familiarise yourself with concept of mobile money transaction where money comes from customer A goes to customer B, and customer B used the same money to pay bill to customer C. That is not real money because is just passing on platform and leave small fee behind. Compared that with real money earn my the country after goods and services been delivered. Oh one more thing, the transaction you bragging about, it happen in local currency rather than hard foreign currency a country can earn through sales of goods and services abroad.

Safaricom has never ventured outside Kenya. Anything to that effect either never left the planning stage or is simply CCM propaganda.
And what would make Safaricom take Mpesa to Nigeria yet it does not even have a mobile network there. The likes of MTN have failed there yet they are one of the biggest mobile network. It seems thinking is in short supply in Bongolalaland.

Transactions on Mpesa are bigger than your GDPs plus your neighbours, period.
In Africa, Kenya has the highest numbers followed by Ghana then Nigeria. Tanzania which pretends to claim ownership of Mpesa is not even in the picture.
Whether that is 'real money' as you call it is for you to console yourself.

I also hope I've enlightened you on monopolies.
