Changes in Tanzania can be made by the Tanzanians them selves, including the governmental sector and non governmental sectors. Changes in economic status, society development, good governance and accountability, democracy, agriculture and human rights all in general can be possible only if the Tanzanians decide to do so.
ECONOMIC GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF TANZANIA.
Economic growth and development inquires the increase level in quality and quantity wise in goods and services. The African Development Bank (AFDB) projected Tanzanian GDP growth to remained stable at 6.4% in 2020 and 6.6% in 2021, also the Bank of Tanzania (BOT) estimated that the growth level in 2021 will be 5.6% from 4.8% of 2020. Therefore Tanzanian government have gone through different actions towards their development. (1) Establishment of different projects like rufiji electricity and the construction of standard gauge railway which has brought about 3500 employment opportunities to Tanzanians. (2) Improvement in Education reform especially the type of education of Mwalimu J.K Nyerere for self reliance, the kind of education through which people can employ them selves and bring about economy development in the country. (3) Deregulation , it involves the relaxation of rules and regulations imposed in the industries and business. This may definitely attract many investors in the country and bring about economic development.
Other actions that have been taken by the government to improve it's state of economy and business are like infrastructural development , standard rate of interest in the banks etc.
AGRICULTURAL SECTOR IN TANZANIA.
Agriculture is said to be the backbone of Tanzanian economy because many of Tanzania are employed in this sector and also 85% of exports are from agriculture. Agricultural GDP is forecast to increase from 29.1% in 2019 to 29.4% in 2020/21 and 32% in 2025/26. Agriculture accounts for 26.7% of Tanzanian GDP. Therefore the government have made some policies through which agriculture can be promoted. (1) Participation of Non governmental organizations in agricultural sector, whereby investment in this sector could be easily promoted and availability of incentives to Farmers become easier as well.(2) Education to the farmers should be provided concerning good farming methods so that production can increase in relation to job opportunities.(3) Creating awareness to the society including the youth on the important of agriculture towards social and individual benefits.
There are so many various ways that can help in improving and promoting agriculture.
TANZANIAN HEALTH SECTOR.
Tanzania has been fighting from different disease that happened to be a problem in the country, disease like malaria ,U.T.I ,HIV/AIDs ,and so many other diseases . Currently Tanzanians are fighting COVID 19 pandemic where's the government have already taken some measures to fight the disease.The president of Tanzania Honorable Samia Suluhu Hassan decided to engage Tanzanians to use the covid 19 vaccines. The government have also taken measures by providing education to the mass concerning the ways to protect them selves from diseases, washing hands frequently, wearing masks and avoiding unnecessary gatherings etc.Also the USAID project is mainly concerning the health protection mostly to the women and youth. Therefore the government has to provide favourable environment for foreign investors in health sector for example Indians have so many hospitals in Tanzania like regency, hindumandar arghakhan and others.
HUMAN RIGHTS IN TANZANIA.
Human rights are the basic freedoms liberties and protections to which all people are entitled. Human rights through various institution have been influenced especially in gender discrimination, rights to education, women rights and youths and also people with different disabilities. Therefore various ways to be done so that human rights can we'll be promoted and given to the groups of people who are in need of their rights. Firstly ,Stand against discrimination , discrimination is among the most factors that hinder development especially a gender discrimination.
Secondly role of Non governmental institutions should be promoted, a good and relevant example is NAMTHAMINI COMPAIGN which stands towards helping women who suffer during their menstruation cycle because of lacking woman pads ,compaigns like these helps in promoting and influencing human rights.
Thirdly, Freedom of speech ,this is mainly concerned in politics and also within the society, some mass medias and political parties lack the freedom to give out what they have in their hearts ,this happens due to fear and also they lack freedom of speech which is a state of lacking human rights. Therefore the government should have to go through this and ensure well provision and promotion of human rights.
SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN TANZANIA.
Tanzanian level of technology is generally low, it has mainly been attributed by the form of education in Tanzania. Many Tanzanians are educated but they lack jobs. This is because they depend on the sense of being employed by different companies, but in countries with good forms of education they are well in terms of science and technology because they can discover new ideas and employ themselves. In Tanzania such thing is very miner and thus it makes technology lag behind. The government in general should stand in action and start to promote a self reliance education to it's people. Also the government should empower different people including women , because there are some women with new ideas but they lack chances to present their ideas. Lastly the government should create favourable environment for investors with different technology both foreign investors and those within the country.
DEMOCRACY IN TANZANIA.
Democracy has a very wider meaning as it includes various things to take into account. Tanzania is a democratic country but there are some assets in democracy are not taken into action. The government should undergo actions to ensure democracy in the country. The following actions should be taken into consideration ,(1) Transparency and Accountability from the political leaders, without considering ruling party or non ruling parties all leaders should be accountable and transparent to their people if not so they should be removed from their positions. (2) Equality within the society should be promoted, the role of different people in the country should be considered and so everyone has to be equal before the law .(3) Also freedom of expression should be much considered , the mass medias and political parties have rights to express what they see and have , and so ,democracy could be promoted and taken into actions.
There are so much things that the government have to do where democracy could be promoted.
GOOD GOVERNANCE AND ACOUNTABILITY.
Good governance is away of measuring how public institutions conduct public affairs and manage public resources in a preferred way. The absence of good governance has brought about problems like conflicts ,also problems in constitution . The government should ensure proper use of resources from there people. Also leaders should be aware on their duties and also their limits. Lastly leaders should use properly their positions where they are choosen and kept by their people. And by doing so good governance and accountability will be promoted .
SOCIETY DEVELOPMENT IN TANZANIA.
The government should consider their people not only during crises and elections, but all the time when they are in their positions. Society development may include living standards of the people in different areas , also proper health care provisions , promoting education in the society, transportation should be improved and so many things in the society. Thus the government should have to take into consideration their people who are suffering from different needs , leaders should be aware on their people's in the community and so society development could be promoted.
Generally the government should should consider all the people in the society and also people should work upon thier living, development is for all and not the government only.
