What to visit in east Africa?

i ma planning to visit east Africa next year, with my family... so at the moment i am collecting informations.

Could you please recommend me what to visit and where to go?

We are planning to go to Kenya and / or Tanzanisa, safari, coast visit etc.

What is security situations in that region? Should we stay in hotel or we can travel aorund using rent a car?

How much money in $ is enough for 2 weeks, for food, transportation costs?

For both safari and coast visit, i recomend you visit tanzanias' serengeti or ngororongoro, and the beutiful zanzibar where you can enjoy the beatiful, beaches,tanzania will really give you value for your money.

Kenya is not very safe now a days.
