Whats JK reading ?

I beg to disagree based on what I am reading from Mr. Zakaria's new book.

The below passages from the book will speak for him

Page 34-35

Or consider the perspective on the same war from another spot on the map.An Indian friend explained to me, "For Britain and America, World War II is a heroic struggle in which freedom triumphs over evil, For us, it was a battle in which Britain commited India and its armed forces without bothering to consult us.London told us to die for an idea of freedom that it was at that very moment brutally denying to us

a lot of ppl here have the obama syndrome, I hope i do not catch it
please do not get me wrong, i admire the guy, and if I was to vote, I would have to think again not to vote for him.
But.
To mee it seems that too much attention is paid to the usa elections.

Reading informs the mind, which helps in decision making and leading.

Unless you advocate idiocracy, I cannot understand why you would not want a reading president.

I am not saying he should not read but it's not his main job. He must have read enough by the time he was elected.

Rumors has it that Mbeki was reading too much and in doing so he stumbled upon those wacky theories of HIV/AIDS being caused by poverty rather than viruses.

You seem to entertain the idea that there is such a thing as "reading enough"

with attitudes like these do we have the nerve to wonder when our leaders make a fiasco of our economy and everything else?

Mkuu unafikiri ni kwa nini raia wanampenda JK?

When you are a leader it's better to read people than books. That said, I believe the guy (JK) does refresh his mind either by reading books or by other means.
