Who Are You?

The Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori made an embarrassing verbal gaffe upon meeting U.S. president Barack Obama.

This is a story from the Japanese Embassy in US!!!

A few months ago, Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori was given some basic English conversation training before he visits Washington and meets President Barack Obama...

The instructor told Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori, "When you shake hand with President Obama, please say 'How are you?' Then Mr. Obama should say, 'I am fine, and you?' Now, you should say 'Me too.' Afterwards, we translators will do the work for you."

It looks quite simple, but the truth is...

When Mori met Obama, he mistakenly said 'Who are you?' (instead of 'How are you?').

Mr. Obama was a bit shocked but still managed to react with humor:

'Well, I'm Michelle's husband, ah ah ah...'

Then Mori replied, 'Me too, ah-ha ha...!'

Then there was a long silence in the meeting room.......!

Mori always confusing the English words "how" and "who" while greeting a foreigners.

During Group-of-Eight (G Summit... Mori made a mistake again while greeting U.K. Prime Minister Gordon Browne:

U.K. Prime Minister Gordon Browne, approached Mori and asked...

"How are you?"
Mori replied, "I am Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori."

Kuna yule mama Waziri wa Sweden aliyeuawa. Siku moja akiongea na PM wa Russia, upande fulani alikuwa busy akimbebeleza mtoto wake mdogo. Sasa kwa kuwa alikuwa akitumia simu ya mezani ambayo inakuwa na spiker na mic kubwa (loud spiker) ilikuwa kwake kazi rahisi. Sasa wakati PM wa Russia akimwaga sera zake, mama akawa akifanya mambo mawili kwa mpigo na akajisahau na akaanza kumwambia mtoto wake "......ohhhh, mpenzi usiwe hivyo njoo hapa kwangu......" Basi upende wa Russia kukawa kimyaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!! Kimya kilivunjwa na sauti ya mtoto huyo alipoanza kulia kwa sauti na Warusi wakaangusha kicheko......
