Dida is 100% COMMEDIAN,he never tackle crucial issues asked he just talk his things Kenyans will be stupids to vote for him,I am strongly agree with Uhuru but think Kenyan will give Raila though the position is too young for that old man.

Synovate says Uhuru trounces the rest of presidential pretenders with 37% followed distantly by Raila 23% Kenneth 12%...this is not limited to phone owners but guys on the street likely to be more accurate...........

orty per cent of Kenyans who watched or listened to the inaugural presidential debates say they would vote Uhuru Kenyatta as president.

This is in contrast to Raila Odinga’s 33 per cent, Peter Kenneth’s seven per cent, Musalia Mudavadi’s four per cent and Martha Karua’s two per cent.

The Ipsos Synovate conducted survey however registered undecided voters as seven per cent and subjects unwilling to respond as six per cent.

The opinion poll survey also asked respondents on who they felt responded best on key issues the presidential candidates were grilled on and on the issue of tribalism and ethnicity in which Peter Kenneth scored the highest at 23 per cent.

Other candidates that respondents felt tackled the issue of ethnicity well were Raila Odinga with 22 per cent and Uhuru Kenyatta with 12 per cent.

On the issue of education, 18 per cent of those interviewed felt that James Ole Kiyiapi best tackled it, while 16 per cent liked Uhuru Kenyatta’s response. Peter Kenneth, Raila Odinga and Martha Karua followed with 14 per cent, 13 per cent and 11 per cent respectively.

On crime and Security, 22 per cent were for Uhuru Kenyatta, while Raila Odinga’s response was satisfactory to 21 per cent of respondents. Peter Kenneth scored 14 per cent while Martha Karua scored 11 per cent.

Martha Karua scored the highest on health care with 27 per cent of respondents supporting her. Uhuru Kenyatta followed with 17 per cent, Raila Odinga with 15 per cent, Peter Kenneth with 13 per cent and Musalia Mudavadi with five per cent.

The ICC issue which generated a lot of debate saw Uhuru Kenyatta’s response being the most popular scoring 25 per cent. Raila Odinga scored 17 per cent, Muite 14 per cent, Martha Karua 13 per cent, and Peter Kenneth 7 per cent.

Respondents were happy with Raila Odinga’s response to the question of party politics where he scored 25 per cent, while Uhuru Kenyatta followed with 24 per cent. Peter Kenneth scored 13 per cent as Martha Karua scored seven per cent.

Overall, Uhuru Kenyatta was the highest gainer from the debates. He got three per cent more of supporter while Raila Odinga who has been leading in past opinion polls lost three per cent.

The survey was however skewed to only those who watched and listened to the debate which was 66 per cent and 34 per cent respectively. The survey was not national. A second debate will has been scheduled for later this month.
