(well from my logical point of view if that's the case) some men don't like to be looked down at (inferiority complex) so they prefer to be taller than their partners.. (I guess it looks good on a couple) but depends if both partners are within a good range it does not matter, (both short). It might be the impact of how community perceive the issue.

I think the question can even be why men don't prefer dating girls taller than them
