I wonder you had your answer and still wanted to start a thread.

It is awkward to say this person is short and that guy is tall. In really life shortness is a vague term, carrying different meanings. I might be tall to somebody X but short to Y. Boflo 'is shorter to' Hashim Thabit and the likes. So being short is relative to a reference subject.

Science defines Short Stature as height more than 2.25 SD (standard Deviations)(others propose 2.0SD) below mean, roughly equal to the shortest 1.2% (2.3% when we use 2.0SD) of the population (Here We would say Tanzanian population). So what is the mean height 'of' Tanzanians to define short and tall?

Most of us who consider to be tall, they will be Short in Holland and Germany. Now you can think...
