Why Magufuli administration misses the point on Government splurge

it was ominous one for the ruler

according to the vision there were two messages

the first was forewarning

change your draconian ways

or face the wrath of your Maker

as a matter of inconvenient coincidence the wife of a ruler fell sick

with the spirit of tradition running amok it was of little surprise our self-proclaimed prophet was politically persecuted for his unwelcome candour

the dpp invoked the usual incitement charges and damaging the reputation of the ruler

before the matter came for a hearing the accused sought his constitutional rights to bail

then the ugly serpent head of this regime reared its axis of evil

the axis of evil conjoining the executive and the judiciary was too conspicuous to ignore

while our constitution instructs for separation of powers between three arms of the government but there are almost vacancy in terms of legislative provisions to ensure such nobler intentions are adhered to

while the Bench has security of tenure but its recruitment and promotion remains an executive excursion pitting the judiciary unto executive machinations

while members of the Bench have very little worries of losing their plum posts but the greed for promotion and executive appointments compromised its independence

even the retired chief justice Ramadhan at one time when he was no longer held under hostage by the executive after retirement discerned appointments and promotions that were of questionable metier had split the Bench unto shards reaching tectonic levels where some high court judges hurled insults to associate justices of the court of appeal

in this aura, we are not dazed when bail is politicized

indeed, we remain totally unfazed when we witness the judiciary caricaturing itself unto an executive puppet!

as I have indicated early the offenses Godbless is charged with are bailable without much fuss

as much as I resent getting into technicalities involved but i feel the obligation to depart from this stance of eschewing the technical matters
