We also in the know Musalia Mudavadi is for sometime nursing presidential ambition of his own but a failure to realign with the Jubilee government rules him out as he has zero chance to succeed the scion of Jomo

The Jubilee secretary general has been in the Mwai Kibaki cabinet so he has plenty of legislative and executive experience but the way he has been running Jubilee has left a bad taste in the mouth of many

But his heavy-handed dealings of the interior ministerial docket has left him with very few unburnt bridges he dearly need to launch his presidential bid. He is a full blown civil servant and what works as an overbearing bureaucrat happens to be a liability in the political arena. Political prosperity demands persuasion talent because of the duress imposed by accountability to the electorate while a bureaucrat needs domineering fiats to perform his duties undaunted by the electorate appeal...

So Wamalwa suits more a supporting role not a bellwether one as a result we may have to withdraw his name despite holding a powerhouse name in Kenyan politics with his brother - Kijana Wamalwa - having served as vice president in the Mwai Kibaki administration till he lost a fight against prostrate cancer [emoji752]

Ruto presidential stab demands departure from bondage with political dynasties and Ken Lusaka fits that bill of an outsider

And as Ruto continues to antagonize the electorate against political dynasties little does he know he is also threatening the status quo where kingmakers den is...so threatening to tear apart the den of kingmakers force them to coalesce around a least threatening transformational political figure of no other but Kenneth Lusaka

Ruto boasts of over 150 MPs supporting his presidential bid but our considered observations suggest to us he has a handful of MPs mostly from his Rift Valley backyard and even fewer from coastal region

So from our assessment we beam Ruto parliamentary support hovers around 35-40 MPs who will back him come rain come lightning as a route to protect their reelection campaigns since challenging Ruto in Rift Valley is as good as committing a political suicide

ODM MPs may have no vote in the Jubilee presidential nominations but once Ken Lusaka name has been ratified they will be more than happy to sell his presidential bid to their respective areas
