It was loaded by passion and determination to survive in a very hostile political environment

For us we shall look upon CDM internal politics which Mbowe has a say and ignore externalities which were motivated by wishful thinking

There were key words which few had considered

Mbowe was very optimistic Covid-19 will get justice through CDM internal appellant machinery

We have already painted a contrarian picture which we have no intention to echo but if interested to know you may need to go back and peruse those points in this thread

We read a much more reconciliatory tone and no whiff of teaching them a lifetime lesson

We believe Covid-19 has lobbied intensively and are winning the hearts and minds of fellow CDM leaders save for Tundu Lissu who would like to take prisoners

The relationships of leaders in political parties are complex when women are involved

It's easier to kick out men like Zitto Kabwe or those seven Arusha Councillors

But women politicians tend to forge extramarital relationships with their male counterparts and tend to invoke them at hour of need

We believe Covid-19 did just that, and contextualisation of Mbowe speech we believe there will be no expulsion although the introduction of the word criminal conduct or jinai leaves us in a limbo must concede

The case of Covid-19 was argued to be distinguishable because it involved criminal conduct while the winners of elections such as the Nkasi North Mp and Councillors was identified as gross indiscipline

But all the same, we believe the Covid-19 storm is over now

We say so because not only of complex extramarital affairs going behind the scenes there but also after consideration of other factors

We believe CDM is cash strapped and will hotchpotch to next election if substantial funds are not available and decimating themselves really not a right strategy when CCM is the real elephant in the room

So based on those observations we are now in a position to make a few yet cautious projections

We project Covid-19 will be forgiven but will pay hefty fines and will lose their plum positions in the party

We project up to third of their parliamentary perks will be remitted to the party to take care of party operational issues
