So banning him for life was unprecedented and excessive for two major reasons

First a remedy presented to him of a "public apology" to rescind the ban was on its own a blackmail

Second BASATA's claims of compromising national values are rebuttable

BASATA has never quoted any document explaining those national values how those values have been violated and in what sense!

Such a scenario presents insurmountable legal problems to BASATA

Because a hearing founded on non existent national values is in itself violation to a fair hearing

The BASATA regulations are in many ways subjective and human error prone

The current structure of BASATA is outdated and a relic of one party democracy

BASATA has failed to carry out reforms that will ensure it encompasses modern challenges evolving around interactive dialogue, technological breakthroughs and self censorship

BASATA reforms call for reconstitution of the body that stakeholders not political appointees run the show
